Not recommended at all! We ordered coffees and they hadnt come after 30mins so we followed up, being told something went wrong with our system. After we finally got them we went to pay and the service was horrible, no structure at all, we lined up but kept getting push out of the way to others coming in, people leaving, staff serving and people pushing in front of us. The server had acknowledged us standing there waiting to pay but kept let others push in front.
Been on a pancake/French toast binge recently. So naturally went for the Brioche French toast with a side of bacon. There was aplenty stewed apple, cinnamon custard and crumbs. Surprisingly yummy. Im not a huge fan of cinnamon but this was very contained. The only downside was the bacon which looked and tasted under cooked. Big serving!
Honestly quite lackluster from my experience. The Halloumi brekky had probably the best cooked halloumi Ive ever tasted in my life. But then it all goes downhill…The eggs were not poached, as the centre had a solid yolk, the Reuben was meh and the drinks too, were meh.
However what I disliked most about this place was the service. The waitresses were very attentive to those who seemed to be regular customers, and thats absolutely fine. However there were 2 tables, including us, who were not served for 25 minutes after we got our menus, and considering the establishment wasnt even really busy, I thought it was horrendous. Neither waitresses looked at either table. Really cant find a reason to return.
Great service, simple great tasting food for an affordable price. Brunch is always a go-to on a Sunday morning and this place definitely hit the spot for good coffee and food. Definitely coming back to try everything else on the menu!
Been here a few times. My eye caught on to a coffee I had not drank before.
Aeropress coffee for $5. Took more than 15 mins to make. The waiter told me it is Honduras White Coffee. It has a fruity taste. Not bad.
Here is some info on Aeropress:
The AeroPress is a device for brewing coffee. It was invented in 2005 by Aerobie president Alan Adler. Coffee is steeped for 1050 seconds and then forced through a filter by pressing the plunger through the tube. The filters used are either the AeroPress paper filters or disc shaped thin metal filters.
Awesome menu and great environment!
Came here with a friend for a catch up and loved it! The environment of the cafe is vibrant, fun and science themed. Even the water bottles are beakers.
The menu is also very good! Heaps of variety and breakfast and lunch all day gives you even more options.
It did get a little busy which made it quite noisy for a little bit there though, but I guess thats what you get with a good cafe, business!
Fantastic menu, great food and lovely people.
The Nutella milkshake was fantastic, no too heavy but very very tasty, everything else was ok, nothing special.
Milkshake is a must try! Nice outdoor area
