I went there several times because it’s close to my house, but the staff (old guy, seems like a boss) makes the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Whenever i go there, he looks so tense, unhappy, unfriendly to customers or staffs. I’ve already seen his shouting several times.Even one day, my husband and i ordered lunch, then suddenly he started shouting to one of workers andkept shouting to the staff while i was eating. I feel so uncomfortable, and don’t want to eat anymore at there.Overall, coffee and food was good, but i think the man need to be relax.

Came here today for lunch and my friend and I were both quite peckish. We walked into the caf and waited to be greeted – two staff members both glanced at us but ignored us. After about a minute we were finally welcomed in and shown to our table. The table was filthy so we moved to a different one. Ugh. After reviewing the smallish menu, we both ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on Turkish bread. The waitress was friendly enough but we werent recommended anything and we werent informed about any of the specials they had on offer. Our meals arrived in around 10 minutes. They were quite small and for $13 we were expecting the sandwiches to be a bit bigger and more satisfying. It only took us 5 minutes to eat. The sandwich itself was enjoyable and tasty but nothing really special. Overall, we werent satisfied with our experience today and can’t see any reason to return.

Lovely cafe with nice vibe. Coffee and hot chocolate are good. We tried the almond croissant and its nice. They seem to have other delicious items which we might try in our next visit..

Fantastic food and Chef David is a gentleman. Highly recommend the Chai Latte, Superfood Salad and Mango Chicken Salad. Coffee is unreal too.

Such a cute concept for a cafe! Coffee is great but food is a little average. The variety isn’t huge but what they have is great. Service is alright as well but overall a good place to catch up with some friends

I have a renewed respect for this cafe since having a baby, they are so friendly and accommodating when I come I with the pram for a coffee or bite to eat. The coffee is great, the gluten free brownie is delicious and their other take away items such as the bread, snacks and juices are awesome as well.

This place is always great with service as well as delicious food and excellent coffee.
We are very fussy about our coffee and Picknick never disappoints us.
Staff are pleasant abd the owner well mannered.
    Worth another visit
