Some family friends of ours recommended Turquoise and we couldn’t have been hapier to visit last weekend. The menu isn’t your standard, boring options, but has lots of european-inspired twists on the classics.

The Benedict was served on a thick slice of eggplant, which we thought was delicious and the hollandaise sauce was really flavoursome. The lattes were great too.

Lot’s of people on a weekend but the service was lovely and food came reasonably fast too. Looks like this is a popular choice for the locals and we can see why! Will definitely be back!

There’s Eggs Benedict, and then there’s No Ordinary Benedict.

This was definitely an experience to remember. Turquoise is the brainchild of Yariv Alfie, who pays tribute to his Jewish heritage at this Hawthorn Road caf. the Turquoise theme is a reflection of his love for the Mediterranean, and there’s a fresh feel to the space.

Head Chef Gror barnea has created a distinctive menu, that’s unlike any other in the area. The use of herb and spices, and traditional cooking methods add to the incredible flavour infused dishes.
This dish, which clearly is not your ordinary eggs Benedict, is made with slow cooked beef ribs on medallions of grilled eggplant, with a 6 hour sugo, and a creamed feta and turmeric hollandaise. Sprinkled with Dukkha, this dish is definitely one for the travelled foodie.

    Coffee by Inglewood.

    -Amazing cafe! Highly recommend

Ambiance 5: beautiful outdoor space with plenty of seating indoors too. Dogs are welcomed here aswell!

Food 5: food here is amazing!! The pana is delicious and probably one of the best Ive ever had (its a lotus flavour and is very mousey). The chicken cauliflower salad is a must! Very filling and very tasty. Chips are thin and crispy.

Service 5: Friendliest staff and amazing service. Very personable and make conscious efforts with their customers! Also very knowledgeable about different dishes.

Nice place, good decor, ok service. Possibly a bit loud and not the most relaxing caff around, but great cooked breakfast options. Ordered poached eggs on ciabatta bread, with mushrooms, thyme and feta. Everything was fairly standard, no highs but no low either. Had the green shakshuka and that was good too. Worth stopping if you are in the area.

Decided to check out this highly rated cafe. Dropped in for brunch at midweek & they are almost full house. Coffee was ok. We enjoyed the no ordinary benny & the eggplant feta shakshuka. The eggplant was something special!

This black halva waffle is quite special. I like the flavour because I love black sesame. A modern Israeli dish. The waffle is not the best to be honest but everything else is great. Doesnt really taste like marshmallow but its all good. Coffee is great!!

Nice food and friendly staff! But would not be a good idea to sit inside if you wanna talk with friends coz it’s a bit noisy especially the busy hours when all seats are occupied. We both went for the No ordinary benedict which turned out to be a great idea, really like the slow cooked pulled beef, juicy n tender, and the souce absorbed so well! love the grilled eggplants, anyone who wanna order this, don’t forget to add an extra toast on the side! FYI they also provides several daily special, check them out before you order, you may hv some surprise
