This place has been one of our go-to’ s for the simple fish and chips on a cold weeknight.
Pretty straight forward, and I like the way they make grilled flake.

Great little fish and chip shop. Very traditional. Burgers and fish and chips are great. Staff are friendly and are on the ball. Pricing is excellent compared to others in other suburbs. Great for a quick lunch.
Tried this place because its closer to home and was said to be under new management. Order summary:
Chips: rubbery/powdery. Not crispy.
Flake: taste ok but was half the size of other shops.
Calamari: reconstituted squid meat with a very ordinary crumb
Potato cakes: meh. Reconstituted potato.
Prawns: average
Dimsim: average.
Service was alright but there was no one else in the shop. Ordered during peak time on Friday.
Won’t go back. Will happily drive further for reliable/great fish and chips.
The owners have changed again but now for the better! The order was so fast and quality was amazing, really glad to have such a good local fish and chips place again 🙂
I never like to give a bad review but im sick of food places getting away with serving substandard food, and taking money for it. The place is filthy with products such as drinks and sauces that are out of date, the man serving definitely was not following food safety laws. When we got our order it was missing parts and the parts we got were inedible. After we drove back to show him what he served us was disgraceful, he argued with us that no one else has ever complained. It was only when we pointed out the out of date products did he give us our money back and to save himself further embarrassment as there was another customer in the store. We dumped the food in the bin next to the counter as i asume many do and left. We were at our car when he chased us out asking for the food back, we can only assume it was to serve to the next unsuspecting customer. We told him it was in the bin within his store. Definitely better fish and chip stores out there save yourself disappointment and do elsewhere.
I try and avoid bad reviews but something is not right. Ordered via the internet and it was a bit of a drama. Long wait which is fine if it was great fish and chips. But it wasn’t not terrible but far from excellent.
The worst experience ever. The food was ordered via menulog it arrived late and not only was it all cold but they didn’t even deliver what was ordered. They replaced ordered dim sims (steamed) with a few fried chips.
NEVER AGAIN.
