Helpful service and tempting menu options. Flavour ratings varied around our table. The chilli scrambled eggs got an ok from my partner, while stepdaughter was much more impressed with her porridge. Unfortunately, although my Reuben sandwich was tasty, it was not pastrami. The slow cooked brisket had not touched a dry rub or smoker, so lacked the texture and flavour of a good pastrami. Disappointing for this part of town. Not to boast (well ok I will) but Ive been to Katzs Deli and I know this luncheon meat. I bet some of the Elsternwick locals know it too.

Highlights: beautifully plated. FREE sparkling water! Lowlights: the bathroom was outdoors so had to venture out in the cold.

Came here today with a friend for lunch. We came around 1 pm and it was quite packed. We sat outside as the weather was nice. We both got a coffee and for food, I ordered the Chicken Bao dish. It came with 3 baoswith fried chicken, kimchi, avocado, sriracha, mayo and cabbage coleslaw.
The meal was yum, the chicken was crunchy and the bao was soft and fluffy. The meal left me comfortably full but maybe a little bit expensive for what it was. Regardless, very enjoyable.
The staff member who served us was also quite good – he was attentive and had a smile on his face.
One of my local places, and too brunch spots in Elsterwick. Due to popularity can often busy on the weekends. I always try something new each time I go.
