I was there last night dinner with my love. Large menu ranges and drinks menu. Friendly staff and good service, they have just rolled out their new menu which is good pair with beer or wine nor sake . Definitely will go again.
The food was ok but service was unforgivable. The restaurant was half full. We had a table of 6. It took 20 mins to take our drink orders. The first 3 mains arrived after about 45 mins. 10 mins later was the entrees. It was another 30 mins (ie 1.5hrs in total) until the other 3 mains came (after several complaints). A table that sat down 30 mins after us was served their food before us. Despite several complaints along the way, no apology (not a complimentary drink) was offered. My guess is they prioritise Uber Eats orders.
Slightly above average Japanese food typical of a suburban restaurant. Not overpriced so I suppose the price is commensurate with the quality.
Good service and food. Environment is a little dim but overall nice and cozy. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was fresh and looks amazing
Food is just average. The waiting time for one dish to come is too long so not going there if you are very hungry. I won’t come back for sure.
This cozy Japanese restaurant is good for a small catch up. With tables mostly arrange for 2-4 pax, it provide a very comfortable ambience for a good catch up over dinner. The staff are very kind and helpful! High recommended: Kaisen Teriyaki- seafood grill plate with vegetables!
Came during New Years Eve. Ordered the Agedashi Tofu, Vegetable Bento and the Pork Gyoza. The Agedashi Tofu was average, the sauce was a tad bland, the Vegetable Bento was also lacklustre. Only the Gyoza was quiet good.
The service was the downside, we had to call out three times for a staff to come over to serve us. In the end we had to approach the front counter to inform a waitress that we were ready. However the final straw was when one of the staff members began performing a bowl throwing trick at the Teppanyaki Bar but ended up accidentally throwing a bowl filled with rice at the direction of our table. I do believe it is considerate that the restaurant is providing the diners with some entertainment but please refrain from showering customers at nearby tables with bits of food.
Will not be returning here again.
