This is an unfortunate takeover. From the mediocre decor to the bland limited menu and terrible name.It’s really a shame that the owners thought it was wise to take over an establishment with such a varied menu and change it to one that serves pizza, what is essentially pizza cake and pizza dough rogelach. Especially when it’s across the road from another well known pizza establishment. Milk N Honey was a beloved Kosher Cafe and this is a terrible replacement.Even a simple Chai Latte was ruined by the barista, I am not exaggerating when I say, it was disgusting!I really do hope they vary their menu, hire an interior designer and train the staff better or I don’t see this place lasting very long. Disappointed
I came here last Wednesday and sat outside, anytime I wanted to order I had to get someones attention or go inside. When I she brought my card and receipt out after I had paid she threw the bill fold on the table. Both servers were very impolite. Today I went back to get a coffee and was charged $5.50 for my long Black when on the menu it is $4.00. Apparently because I asked for iced. How is it allowed to charge $1.50 for ice and water from the tap!? The same woman who was rude last week tried to argue with me so I just paid the $5.50 but absolutely ridiculous. Tried to give this cafe another go but I will not be going back there ever.
