I’ve got veggies fried glass noodles for $8 and spring rolls for $1 each… it looks like it’s been thrown to the microwave several times… the noodles taste bland, the veggies is off, so not fresh, it’s looks old.. and the filling of the spring rolls lack of seasoning, I literally need to take out and throw away the filling.. well, it’s campus cafeteria, so yeah…
only been a few times but I love the place, the service is great, everyone is friendly. especiallythe boss, he is so funny and always happy which really helps. the food is good, there is always a variety, personally, I like the salads and desserts.
It is what it is. Its a cafeteria in a Tafe with a try hard French bogan name. The food here is hit and miss. I normally get the hot food such as butter chicken, Sichuan style chicken and stir fried chicken. Pretty much all of the curries and spicy foods are toned down as not to offend anyone who is not used to spice but other than that its good value for money.
Things Ive tried that I dont like are the chicken sushi rolls which had a horrible, over processed slice of chicken schnitty. I also didnt like the vanilla slice, the pastry was way too sweet and the custard and icing were way too sweet and artificial tasting. I did like the potato cakes but theyre not as flavoursome now. I had a curry egg sandwich yesterday which was bland.
There is one older man who works here who is pretty friendly and the other people who work here arent friendly but they arent rude either. I try to bring my own food when I go to Tafe but I sometimes I cant be bothered so I eat at Cafe La Kiss. I would be much happier if Cafe La Kiss had the option of using proper plates and cutlery instead of just putting everything in plastic.
Good for lunch, a good variety of food, not only fried food. The Boss is a funny happy guy, which helps at this place. Would be great when the place is a lil more cleaner and sorted.
Well food is bland, expensive (mac donalds is better), small portions, rude servers, Seriously!!! Cold food thrown around the packet!!! Get a life!
