A surprise find near-ish to Chadstone shopping Centre, Niko niko serves Hong Kong style cuisine.
We ordered salty fish tofu pot which was super delicious. Their wonton noodles are pretty good, obviously cant compare to wontons in Hong Kong.
The garlic gai lan is tender and super garlicky and their Chinese style beef steak was delicious. Their sweet and sour pork spare rib has good flavours, but not as crispy as I would expect it to be.
The steamed egg tofu was a bit disappointing. The ones I had before had egg and tofu all blended in together, but this one they had chunks of tofu in the steamed egg, which just stuff up the texture.
All in all, it was a very satisfying feed.

Situated opposite holmesglen and its frequently a lot by students.. our favourite here is the deep fried soft shell crab and the congee. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu… flavours are quite authentic.. to add to that hongky authenticity… on the way out paying the bill by card we ask for a receipt. Only to be loudly yelled back at us its in front of you . We wanted the credit card receipt.. I cant give you that now, have to wait for the machine! I just smiled and patiently waited… haha yep oh how I miss Hong Kong service sometimes 🙂
