New management, new menu. Lovely food, lovely staff, good wine list. We will be back. Great to have a new Neighbour gem. A good yardstick for a bistro is always a Chicken Parma and it was very good, chips were very tasty too.
Under new management!! The food is awesome!! Must try everything Greek they have to offer.. prawn saganaki & fried zucchini to die for!! Best Greek food I’ve had so far! Service is fantastic!
New menu great atmosphere, had dinner last night food was superb. One not to miss. Nick the Manager was friendly, A MUST try if you are in the Clayton area!
Champions Bistro food is fabulous. They have a great basic menu – some say the best parmas in town, as well as really good daily specials. I had the steak – it was thick, succulent, cheap and incredibly flavoursome. if I was local I’d go there every week -a t least!
This little south-east gem is back open for business, delivery your favourite meals at excellent prices. Meals around $15-$25 dollar and great wines and craft beers to match. The BEST Parma I’ve had south of Melbourne. Open every day for Lunch and dinner, one not to miss. Super friendly staff & newly revamped interior! A MUST try!
Just Don’t.. Okay, so we knew the Vue de Monde team had packed up their skillets a couple of months ago, and we really should have been more suspicious on reading the previous reviewer’s celebration on the return of the burgers and parmas…. however, we weren’t prepared for the atmosphere of an empty school canteen, a stained sheet of A4 as a menu and entertainment in the form of an octogenarian on the pa conducting a meat raffle. Shortest visit to any restaurant ever, and we opted for the far more classy local kebab shop. To be fair, they gave us a laugh though! 😀
The guys at the Clayton Bowls club have returned their venue back into an upmarket bistro. The menu is laiden high with the all the classics flathead and chips, burgers etc. special mention to their Parma (best I have had in a while), spinach and ricotta ravioli with burnt sage butter and the classic lamb’s fry with bacon, salsa verde and parsnip pure. Service was prompt and friendly and food was all very tasty. Well done guys.
