Charcoal chicken shop which does some fish and chips on the side. I’d go for their charcoal chicken, their fish and chip corner looked limited.Got half a chicken with chips, a quarter chicken is suffice for one regular person and half is a tad too much. Seeing as I got this takeaway, I snuck in a few chips before it got soggy in its container. Not the best, could have been more crisp with additional chicken salt.The chicken on the other hand wasn’t too bad. The quarter with the leg piece was more tender, fatty and juicy. The breast piece was a tad dry, I’ve had much worse from other charcoal chicken shops. This quarter was passable.It’s affordable and efficient, I would not travel far for it.
This is a good place for those lazy day munchies. The staff are nice, the orders get out quick and it’s a good sign that they’re always busy. I’ve never had a problem with their service or food. Their charcoal chicken is good, not the most amazing though and their chips never have enough salt but hey, they’re cheap and are efficient. A reputable local charcoal chicken shop.
The staff are always super friendly and the chicken is always fresh. Great for a last minute dinner when you secretly spent half the day watching Bold and the beautiful re runs.
Ask for fresh chips and mix it with the cold 1 . Bad service! And it’s Charcoal it’s gas cooked chicken rather go Woolsworth and save $4 .
