Nice local little cafe in clarinda, came for coffee and some food for breakfast/ lunch on the weekend. Service is really friendly, nice menu options, and coffee was good too. Had the chicken vermicelli, which came with grilled chicken and salad, dressing and also ordered extra spring rolls. Chicken was nice and juicy, the spring rolls had lots of filling, and were crispy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside and had good flavours. The dish just needed maybe some more spice but overall was a nice meal.
A great alternative to Springvale. We frequent this favourite hidden gem atleast once every two weeks for the Bun Bo Hue (BBH), a spicy beef noodle soup with a deeply rich in flavour broth and generous amount of beef and pork loaf. The Pho and Beef stir fry rice noodles are also delicious. No skimping on the meat here.
The service is faultless and food arrives within less than 15 mins. The owner is polite and tentative. Love the ice water with fresh fruits too.
Was meaning to try this newish local cafe out and I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
Service was efficient notwithstanding the owner’s broken English, as he still took our order down right with care. We got the grilled Chicken on rice and the special fish burger. Both dishes were delicious and economically priced (both well under $20). The chicken tasted just like it would in Springvale, complete with sweet chilli dressing. The rice was fluffy and well cooked. The only thing I’d say about it was that the serving of chicken in my eyes was a little quaint and could’ve used with a strip or more. The burger looked so good and tasted great, loved the presentation, well worth $14.
I also liked their complimentary apple water which was a nice touch.
If you’re in this area, give this place a go as it offers both Vietnamese inspired and other Cafe classics at a fair price. Good job guys, will be back.
I had a latte & tried the prawn rice paper rolls. Coffee was good. The rolls where yummy and fresh with a tasty sauce. Good little local place to try. Friendly service too.
The food was very nice. Great to have asian options as well as Western. My family have been here so many times now. The pho and other noodle soups are delicious. Staff are always friendly.
Great to finally find a local cafe in Clarinda. Coffee is really delicious and their fresh spring rolls are very yummy. Always lots of newspapers on the tables to read. The staff are very friendly and always deliver my coffee quickly. The cafe is very clean and comfortable place to relax in.
Food was splendid. Came here with my friends and we all will be coming back. Served by a guy named Trent. Great customer service.
Ordered the cafe special, the wonton egg noodle soup, and it was delicious. I totally recommend this place to others.
