I’m addicted!. As a family we eat yum cha almost every Sunday but I love sneaking an extra serve of dumplings in my diet each week at Ant’s Dumplings. I usually get the mixed meat and I love the garnish as much as the filling.
Dumplings that make you smile!. A hidden secret tucked away in The Queen Vic Market. Regulars at Ant’s, they are delicious and healthy, some of the best dumplings in Melbourne! Great flavour combinations and the team are super nice and always happy! Always receive extra’s and we generously get to trail new varieties 🙂
Excellent Service. First time I’ve been and the service was excellent. Not to mention the food. Bursting with flavour, super fresh, variety of choices. Probably some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had.
Great food and atmosphere. This place is a favourite of mine at the market. Fresh and very tasty. A great option is to share a plate of mixed dumplings and some noodles with a friend. Makes of a wonderful lunchtime treat, with great market atmosphere and really friendly staff.
Welcome addition to Queen Vic markets. Open since February this year, Ant’s Dumplings which made a regular appearance at the night markets is now a permanent fixture at the QVM. The menu is limited – dumplings, soup or noodles – but that’s not a bad thing when the quality is high.
The noodle soup is delicious. The broth is light and clean and packed with vegetables and a few prawns.
The dumplings are good although for my taste I found the fried dumplings a little bit oily. The fillings are excellent – next time I will ask for steamed dumplings.
Ant’s is located right next to La Cantina which is also excellent. I love the increased range of lunch options at the QVM. Stop in next time you’re at the markets.
