Whenever we go to the markets, festivals or the good truck pack we always grab a crepe. Usually with either banana & nutella or caramel sauce. The crepes are always light and the filling is a good amount. Service is great.
Visited Pop Up Crepes at Hank Marvin Markets in Alma Park and they didn’t disappoint. Offering both savoury and sweet crepes we couldn’t decide which to pick. Finally we chose the savoury ham and cheese crepe – buck wheat crepe with gluten free ham and Norwegian emmentaler cheese. The edges were crispy (just how we like it) and the centre was soft and oozing with melted cheese (exactly how we like it). Only concern is the price as we think it’s a little dear at $9.
Pop Up French Crepes on Swanston Street are amazing. They may look little and the price may put you off, but they are quite filling and there are various toppings to choose from. Salted caramel is highly recommended!
