Look out for the cute little cart at the Night Noodle Market! Not usually a fan of creme brulee, the ones from The Brulee Cart just blew my expectations. I love that they torch it for you on the spot – just be careful… it’s hot! When you finally manage to break through the crunchy caramel top – which is a challenge cause the plastic spoon is pretty flimsy- underneath is silky, smooth and creamy with specks of vanilla bean. The salty sailor($10) had a great balance of sweet and salty and loved the touch of popcorn on top, although I couldn’t really taste the ginger. Overall creme brulee just perfectly done but is quite pricey for what you get.
