Have only ever ordered a large mocha, chai latte or a focaccia, but from what I’ve heard and what I’ve tasted, this place serves pretty decent coffee compared to many other places on campus. Located in campus centre, it is an ideal place to drop by in between classes or in the morning for your daily caffeine dose. Food is a little overpriced for a student budget, so I wouldn’t recommend buying a meal if you are hungry – but if it’s caf food you’re after, they will serve you well.
Not the best coffee. Its milky, not so much coffee. They have a large range of sandwiches and pastries and theyre not too bad. Toasties are great, milk/dark chocolate drinks are great. If youre an avid coffee drinker – you may want to settle for soemthing else on campus. But if youre a fan of big coffee cups – this will do!
Ordered ice latte. Customer service was great, server was super nice!!! Waiting time was short which was also good. However, the ice latte had a looot of milk in it so next time Id appreciate less milk and more coffee in it. Might go for the ice black coffee next time.
They are quite famous for their coffee. One thing other than coffee that I would recommend to you guys would be veg patty. Being a vegetarian I just love veg patty at Grafali’s.
First day at the Clayton Campus and it was coffee time so just decided to grab a cup with a friend. We ordered a Hazelnut Latte which I believe could be much much better. Will still go again to try the Nutella Latte.
Formerly known as Coffee Wise, Grafali’s is home to the largest coffee size on Clayton campus (I’m going to give it to them, given I haven’t seen any other cafe on campus with the ridiculously large size that appears to be 20 oz). Everyone on campus seems to have differing views about who’s got the best coffee, but Grafali’s is a name that comes up often, and one I agree with.
As well as coffee, they have a wide selection of baguettes, sandwiches, donuts, muffins and the like. There’s a good mix of variety in the sandwiches and baguettes.
The only downside is the lengthy wait times – though Grafali’s have two coffee machines, their popularity means that there is usually a significant wait time at peak times (usually on the hour, when people are getting their coffee fix, and around lunch time).
In Monash University Clayton Campus Centre, Grafali is one of the busiest cafes on campus. They not only serve coffee but also a variety of pre-made baguettes, sandwiches, rice paper rolls, salads, cakes, muffins and other bakes goods. The prosciutto panini is pretty decent for $8.50 and tastes better when it is toasted. However, the regular latte was milky that you could barely taste the coffee. Unlike some cafes, Grafali had no coffee fragrance at all. The coffee was quite disappointing and it was relatively more expensive than other coffee joints on campus.
