The coffee quality depends on who is making it has potential but if the milk isnt steamed well, or if the beans arent ground properly, then it will taste terrible. Its a luck of the draw.
You have a Chinese meal combination from the bain maries over to the right, which are pretty decent value and tasty as well, but only when its fresh at the lunch period.
I wouldnt bother with the sandwhich/pie/cakes theyre bought from a supplier and found everywhere
How can you enjoy the food when the staff are so rude? Especially the tall guy with the ‘I’m cool’ haircut. You can tell you’re inconveniencing him just by ordering. No smile, sometimes no eye contact too, and he slaps your food/change down on the counter. Absolutely terrible attitude.
Oh, and the food is just as terrible as the attitude.
I usually do not write many negative reviews but I do when I get bad attitude. I decided to get a small chai latte here because I had a coupon from playing the shoji monopoly on campus which allows me to get 20% off my coffee at the den. I handed the coupon to the waitress and she asked her boss ‘so what is that?’ and her boss responded ‘3 dollars’ (usually $3.3) then I handed her 3 dollars and being bad at maths it took me a few seconds to realise …wait, it should be 60 cents off so I asked the waitress ‘sorry, isn’t that coupon 20% off?’, in an annoyed tone she answered ‘you’ll have to speak to my boss’… USUALLY PEOPLE SAY ‘CAN I SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER?’ I’m not that kind of person, but I was asked to speak to her manager and her boss straight up gave me this pissed off face and said ‘wait, calculating’ and she presses the buttons on her phone and unwillingly hands me back 30 cents. Very unpleasant experience, the chai latte is decent though.*TYPES REVIEW IN THE LECTURE AGGRESSIVELY WHILE SIPPING ON CHAI LATTE*
