Tried this place on Sunday!! It has a great vibe and love the decor. Very friendly service and the food delicious! The only thing id suggest is looking at the quality of coffee youre using and maybe upping barista skills in your team. Both me and my partner thought the coffee was weak. He drinks long blacks and i drink latte. I would come back however!

We came on a Saturday for a late brunch and scored a table in their cute little courtyard. Their menu has all the classics as well as a couple of awesome signature dishes. Our favourite has to be the Boss Choice which has all the good hallmarks of a Benny but with some smashed avo, halloumi, grain filled bread and amazing chili jam for good measure. This will undoubtedly cure ANY hangover! Their brioche french toast is another winner for anyone with a bit of a sweeter tooth, and will definitely fill you up!
The staff were super friendly and service was great. Theyre also family and dog friendly, definitely one to check out!
A cute suburban cafe across the road from the old Kodak factory site in Coburg. The interior features two rooms with lots of natural light and a funky brick interior painted by the owner. There is a cabinet next to the counter filled with sweet treats and pre-made rolls. They also have a cute courtyard for sunny days.
The owners and chefs are super passionate about serving up great healthy food. They have a solid all day menu featuring all your melbourne breakfast faves, almost all dishes have a VEGAN option, plus a good selection of burgers including a VEGAN BURGER made with jackfruit! We didn’t try the burger on this occasion but I’m absolutely going back for it.
The changing face of the local area has meant that there is now a big demand for good quality vegan food, and Elizabeth cafe are getting a name for themselves meeting it! They have plenty of dishes for the meat lovers too, the service is warm and welcoming and the Undercover Roasters coffee is lovely and creamy and extremely smooth.
Thanks for a great brunch – see you again soon!
You know its true love when youre willing to move states for a person.
Such was the case for Peter and Hannah McCaw, who originate from Perth. When Peter was offered the opportunity to move to Melbourne to pursue his career in Exercise Physiology, wife Hanna packed up shop and moved over with him. Being a chef and hospo veteran, Hanna left behind a well establish job, and a growing industry.
To reciprocate the love and dedication, Peter supported Hanna in living her own dream of owning a caf. When this dual shopfront caf became available a few years ago, they took the opportunity to breathe new life into it. Theyve put their own personal touches into the venue, with a fresh lick of paint, and exposed brickwork coloured with vibrant tones.
Coffee is care of Undercover Roasters, and their single origin from Ethiopia had hints of orange acidity and toffee notes as an espresso.
Their newly launched spring menu had some vibrant options matching the dcor. I was most tempted by the Smashed Pumpkin with beetroot hummus; Pulled BBQ Jackfruit Burger; and what was labelled the Boss Choice. I had to take a leaf from the bosss book, and went with this hearty dish. It featured bacon, halloumi, smashed avocado, chili jam, and hollandaise. The sweetness from the chili jam fused so well with the halloumi and bacon. I understand why the Boss is in charge. She knows whats best.
