Ohey is an absolute MUST go to!!!! I was seriously impressed with the interior and set-up of the shot, the quality of the food, the size of the portions and of course the taste of EVERYTHING. To top it all off the customer service is absolutely superior to that I’ve had anywhere recently. The iced chocolate was basically the best iced chocolate I’ve ever had.To drink we had an iced latte, the ruby red juice (beautifully presented), and the iced chocolate. To eat we had the brisket, the smashed avo with the most amazing side of halloumi, and the French toast (GLORIOUS, not too sweet but so delicious).Could not recommend this place enough, I cannot wait to go back!

If there was a 10 rating on zomato, I would have selected that for this cafe.If you are after finesse, precision, presentation, art, unique plating and absolute magic in the form of your brunch, then this is the place to go.Absolute customer service oriented, Chef Michael and his team absolutely know how yo woo their customers, attention to detail is their USP.Neon lighting, beautifully painted wall mural in their cute n cosy back area and pink decor is their signature look that makes OHEY an absolute visit , if you haven’t been here , do you even live in Melbourne?#mojolevel 10/5
Food was incredible! Smashes avocado is just amazing and I loved the coffee.
I’d seen O’Hey Cafe popping up all over my Instagram lately – and no wonder why!The ambience of the cafe is so pretty with modern decor, splashes of pink and neon lights. They also have a cute courtyard out the back with a beautiful mural which would be great to sit by on a nice day. I was greeted by friendly staff who were super attentive, and it was lovely to have a chat with the owner too.Looking through the menu, I struggled to decide what to order as everything sounded divine. They have a well thought out menu with stand out dishes – I’ll have to come back to try more.I ordered a Beetroot Latte and Falafel Bowl. I couldn’t believe how beautifully presented the Falafel Bowl was – it was like a piece of art, every element was intrinsically placed. It tasted just as impressive as it looked also. I loved the combination of the dukkah egg (so unique) and the crispy fried halloumi with the yoghurt and falafels. My partner had the Brisket which he thoroughly enjoyed. The beef was mouth watering and perfectly cooked. It came with charred corn which I think is a super creative idea and it complimented the dish perfectly. We also ordered the salmon dish which was nice also although we both agreed the other dishes were the highlights.Overall, I’d highly recommend a visit to O’hey Cafe – you’ll be in for a treat!
Have had this cafe on my list for so long and glad I finally gave them a visit! You will notice the bright pink and colourful decor of the cafe as soon as you come in. They also have a lovely courtyard at the back with a pretty Muriel which is great for pictures). The menu is very extensive and there are a lot of options for both food and drinks including alcoholic beverages. I ended up going for the mixed berry smoothie which was refreshing and fruity. Food wise the choice was tricky as I wish I could’ve ordered so many dishes. We had the ricotta and orange hotcake which was thick, very light and soft. It was topped with mango sorbet and accompanied by a poached pear, fresh fruit, museli and butterscotch sauce to pour over it. Then we had the zucchini, corn and halloumi fritters served with pumpkin hummus, crunchy chickpeas, cucumber and a poached egg (would’ve loved two eggs). This dish was very tasty and refreshing due to the fresh cucumber and garnishes.Definitely keen to return to this cafe to try a lot more dishes and beverages on the menu!
