Really disappointed with this place! I went there for the first time today but I won’t be going back. The place itself looks amazing! It’s a beautiful, fresh, clean looking deli with a cafe at the front… however it’s let down by terrible service. The lady behind the counter was just plain rude and my sliced meats were cut way too thick…
Always excellent service at The Deli. The staff are always friendly and always with a smile! They make the best soy cap in Coburg and there lunch options are so yummy and always fresh. Would not go anywhere else!!
Delicious Food. I’ve just recently started working in the area. The food I had on different days were all healthy and delicious! I have tried the Lentil Soup and Caeser Salad, I’d say that the Soup was very yummy and perfect for cold rainy days. The Caeser Salad was the Best I’ve had so far, all the ingredients were fresh and processed with care!

Great deli. What an amazing place. I’m a local and just discovered this brilliant deli/cafe. The variety of stock is amazing. The cafe has a huge variety and definitely spoilt for choice. Gluten free and organic stock available. Will definitely be my local go to store.
Best coffe in Coburg so far. I’ve went there with my parents few times and the food and coffee was realy good,best thing is the service,nice and friendly and always with a smile,my parents loves the food.Gonna go there again. 🙂
Worst Service in Coburg. Being a local I have ventured in to The Deli (both the old and the new sites) many times over the years. I have often got the impression that I was served when the counter staff felt like it, and was often overlooked in favour of other customers. I thought this would change with the new ticket system at the new site…but my experience yesterday confirms that it has not. I arrived to stock up for New Years celebrations. I duly took a ticket and then stood and waited while two other customers arrived and were served ahead of me. Eye contact and a pleading smile to the numerous other counter staff went ignored. Clearly they knew I was waiting and simply chose to ignore me. A third customer arrived and was served immediately. I placed my ticket back on the counter and left. I will never shop there (or attempt to shop there) again. I would prefer the friendly and helpful service of the deli in the Coburg Market to the humiliation of attempting to get service at Eli’s Deli.
