I think the biggest problem with this place is it’s trying to be too many things. With so much going on it just doesn’t work for me as a whole. My review however will be for the food side of it. Service. I was very impressed at the level of service I received here. The shop was insanely busy yet I received smiles from everyone, the lady behind the counter who served me was very attentive and she made sure she didn’t rush our transaction. Food. We had gnocchi and a gf turkey sandwich which arrived at the same time and very quickly. They were both of a good standard. Plenty of flavour and a good edible size. The all important COFFEE. My latte was good, not great but good. All in all it’s a nice break from the many other cheap style takeaways in the Sydney Rd strip. I think if they had a few more tables and dropped the prices on their items just a fraction it would go a long way with me and I’d be more inclined to make the long trek from the only real parking that’s miles away. It’s worth braving the crowds at least once to try this place. If you can manage to get a table I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
