Vasili’s was nice for a low key, casual breakfast. The food is homely and the coffee surprisingly great. The ambience is very much nursery cafe and not trendy breakfast spot, but it was nice to relax in a down to earth environment. Unfortunately it is on a busy road so sitting outside is quite noisy but they are dog friendly which is nice 🙂

One of my favorite places for coffee or brunch. The food is simple with quality fresh ingredients, and very tasty. The space is what really sets it apart from other venues: it is a garden and nursery with a cafe/ restaurant inside. So it’s all full of lush vegetation with rustic decor. Every few months I get there to see the new plants. They also have a small shop on the back with gardening supplies and crafts.
Love this place. Really friendly staff and a great selection of meals. The food is consistently good and very tasty. Nice setting too, surrounded by plants from the adjoining nursery. A genuine Coburg institution.
Ive always been afraid of gardening, but then I decided to grow a pear. Vasilis Caf located in the heart of Coburg, talks not only burgers, but also boasts an impressive garden worth admiring.
The Ring of Fire was burger of choice for the day, with a grilled beef patty, topped with pickles, jalapeos, tomato, lettuce, cheese, crunchy onions and spicy aioli sauce, gave it all the character you could ask for. Smokin!
It sure had the taste to support its luscious looks.
My daughter & I had a lovely brunch at this gorgeous cafe through the week. We were both very impressed with the food, the service & the character of the building & surrounds. My daughter also bought a great little outfit while in the garden shop. We loved the experience we had here & would definitely return & eat here again.
Went here for lunch it is well presented if you are a garden enthusiast it will be exciting as the restaurant is in a nursery.The steak SW was good but wish the plate was bigger or the chips came separate.Coffee good…..Friendly service.
