**** update its had a renovation!It’s amazing what six odd months of renovation work can do to an old country pub, the interior looks amazing and would please any visitor. It’s all new from the floor to the lightning and bar and furniture. The menus have been revamped and modernised so that they offer more contemporary meals. You can simply come in for a coffee of that’s your wish. Our meals were as expected and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Really worth a visit to see what they have done here.—-o0o—-It’s an old style pub that’s really in need of an update. Disappointingly I didn’t find it inviting and the atmosphere just wasn’t there with plain laminex tables, an old stage that hasn’t been used in ages (get rid of it) and an ordering process that resembles an old cafeteria. The menu is average, the meals are largish but they really do lack any quality, vegetables were bland, the calamari were obviously not real and the buttered bread triangles on a tray at the pick-up counter, really? Sorry but not for me and if you’re looking for a traditional pub meal, you’ll need to keep looking.

Great pub for a meal. Had the eye fillet wrapped in bacon with mushroom sauce, very tasty. Two thick pieces of tender steak, yum. Self serve vegies, salad and pasta salad. Very popular place.
