Botanic cafe on the lake as the name would suggest is situated right near Colac Lake. Really lovely setting. I was however disappointed with breakfast. My double shot coffee was weak and my toast came out as bread. It may have seen only a few seconds in the toaster. The service was haphazard.

Super friendly service, nice atmosphere and very nice food. A lovely spot to stop for a snack. There were what looked like two large outdoor but protected areas and a cozy warm indoor area. It is right next to the botanical gardens so a walk along the lake and through the gardens is easy from the cafe.
