A usual spot for a team dinner and yes it’s a bowls club, but it has been recently renovated and it’s now kicking goals with it’s meals. There’s plenty to choose from on the menu with a lot of favorites on the menu with portions sizes on the ‘good’ side and they’re not shy with the sauce’s as there’s always more than enough. You order and pay at the bar for meals and drinks so it’s best to get in early to avoid the long queue. The bar and dining area are quite large and bathed in natural light thanks to the large windows with the fit out providing a contemporary feel. Service is generally OK with most staff whilst others really do need to try to smile for their patrons more often but overall it’s more than acceptable. It’s not a place for a romantic dinner, but for a quick get together with friends and family and and some good food you cant go wrong. Try it!
