Is a great looking restaurant from both outside and inside. Based in a very old building just off the Main Street of Colac it stands out and due to a recent re-paint and can’t be missed. It’s a family run restaurant and the service is good and attentive with good flexibility shown for those that need something not on the menu. This is a great restaurant for small intimate dinners or larger groups or tables celebrating an event. There is also a room that can be booked for the more noisier gatherings. Meals are reasonably priced, well presented and are more than adequate in their portion sizes. One of my callouts is that the menu does not alter very much and patrons would appreciate a change in the menu offerings on a more regular basis. This is definitely a must visit restaurant.

Came here for dinner with my gf, food was shocking, my rib eye was burnt beyond belief and tasted disgusting, vegetables were unseasoned. The garden salad was just covered in a mustard/Mayo combination. My gf had the whole barramundi which was a poor effort, no taste and very mushi. The decor is a shocker aswell, very uninviting and cold.
We had one of the most disappointing dining experiences yesterday at Oddfellows. We explained that we only had a certain amount of time for lunch due to a first day of school pickup. The waitress assured us that our meals would be out in time. We waited 50 minutes for our meals to arrive leaving 5 minutes to eat before we had to leave. To add to the frustration, all our meals were less than satisfactory. We were given the excuse that there were only 2 people in the kitchen and they were unable to keep up with the amount of orders and the food was substandard because they were “under the pump.” We were given 2 of the 4 meals on the house. I hope they manage to sort out their issues.
The best food ever in Colac and charming setting and beautifully refurbished building. Very impressed indeed and will recommend this place to anyone driving by this way. Oh.. hubby ordered lamb shank- he loved the gravy and I had barramundi cooked just nice.
