Recently had breakfast here. Â Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.Unfortunately, the coffee (a large flat white) was rather watery and the breakfast platter was pretty average for the $20+ paid. Â I would say the quality of the ingredients could have been a little better. Â Perhaps it is better value to go for a single-item breakfast item?To be fair, I’ve had take-away coffee here that has been excellent, so perhaps the watery coffee was a one-off.Still probably the best cafe in Colac. Â Closes too early to cater for the afternoon crowd — even if it was for coffee or simple items, it would have been nice for them to open until 4.00 pm or later.

Drove through colac and checked this place out. Staff were really nice and welcoming. Sadly though, the coffee was too hot and burnt. Did not enjoy it.Hope this helps them improve.
Just had breakfast at The Farmers Son. Great breakfast excuse the started half serve photo. Just wanted you to how big the half serve was. They were very accomodating and the price was good not like most places that say they will do a half serve and give a dollar off! Coffee was great too thanks!
