Awesome pub meal. Super good value – daily special chicken parmy $15 including a beer, and the parmy was enormous and fabulous. $18 grilled flake with chips/veg, really tasty. Glass of Chardy $5.50. Friendly staff. Overall excellent value for money true blue country pub meal.
This old style pub bistro has discovered the one secret to getting great reviews and that is serve up great food. The typical pub menu was accompanied by a specials board of 6 items and the friendly service of the staff just topped the meal off nicely. Very reasonable prices and great beer. Lovely steak cooked to perfection. What more could one ask for?

Not a good choice. Butter chicken had 6 1/2 morsels of chicken, sauce straight out of a jar. Steak sandwich with tough steak and soggy tasteless chips. Rowdy kids playing around our table. Sticky bar. Sticky table.
