The cafe is located at the corner in front of tram stop and looking very busy. I was looking for the old book stores and happen to pass by. Indeed the coffee is beautiful. I also stopped here next day to buy some more. Friendly customer service

The best coffee I’ve had on smith street. A great place to grab a coffee on the go. Not found it to be the best place to sit and enjoy a coffee due to the layout (everyone sits round the edges facing each other). But the guys are top notch and the coffee is perfect.

These guys are efficient, make great coffee and actually acknowledge you when you walk through the door regardless of time or how busy the shop is which is a dying concept in this area.

Burnside has been on my radar for quite some time after noticing a steady stream of customers enjoying their coffee each time I pass by. It’s not hard to understand why after tasting the coffee here. Smooth and full-bodied, with the milk frothed to perfection. Perfect with the peanut butter, chocolate chip and sea salt cookie. From the looks of it, the sandwiches are popular with the mass as there was only just 1 left standing and it wasn’t even near closing time. Service from the barista was wonderful, none of the pretentious and snobbish vibe that Smith Street is known for.

This is a great place. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to duck in for the regular 6.30 am brews that I used to manage, but far and away the best coffee going on. The gents that run this place have worked hard to make it a dedicated, relaxed and coffee oriented place. I love sitting here in the mornings and contemplating the zoo which is Smith Street. Nice, well prepared food too!

Great coffee and sandwiches. Simple but quality. Nice banter from friendly folk. Good tunes. Handy for the 86 tram stop too! Never disappoints.

Yep , as expected an amazing brew. Creamy , smoky , beany and smooth . An absolutely excellent cup of coffee , and my mum agrees , so it must be good .
