A little hidden but worth finding. Quirky and fun barista who offers you three different blends. I like the bold coffee and the comfy chairs. Feels like they wouldnt mind you staying awhile.
It’s the genuinely friendly staff that makes this my daily pre-work stopover.
The decor may be really really cool, the coffee excellent and the exotic Italian toasties addictive, but it is the attitude of Peter Casati and his staff that make it a must visit place.
Ps. I love the fact that even ‘tho there are three coffee machines and three coffee flavours to choose From, these are chosen to reflect Melbourne’s awesome coffee history rather than exotic for the sake of it. Home away from home.

Cassati’s Deli is the best small local establishment l have ever found. The coffee is awesome with a choice of blends.
The toasties are the best …… anywhere. They use only the freshest deli ingredients and cook it perfectly.
