Love this tiny little place that is always pumping with both eat-ins and takeaways. Food is stacked from early morning – these guys must start very early with their fabulous chilli lamb or felafel wraps, indulgent spanakopita, very well-filled sandwiches, generous pizzas and wide range of burgers. It feels like a family-run (Lebanese) business and all the secret grandma ingredients have gone into the flavours and sauces. But if that’s too much, there’s always pies and sausage rolls as well as hot soups. Tiny covered terrace is out the back.
The coffee is the weak link.
Snuck out of work to grab some breakfast with a friend! This was a great spot to venture too, small but mighty I like to say. It’s a cute small cafe with not much seating room (more for a quick bite or takeaway) but has great variety in the food they serve as well as drinks. Ordered the eggs benedict and a chai latte for only $15.50 total. Eggs were cooked well on buttered toast with HEAPS of hollandaise sauce.. possibly too much. Friend had the omelette which she enjoyed. I’ve had wraps and sandwiches there before and they are of great quality as well. Breakfast menu is small but has the basic requirements and keeps it’s all simple. Recommend!
The rudest cafe in Melbourne. The owners seems to forget without customer, you kinda dont have a business. Ugly, ugly experince for mediocre. There are much better and happier cafes in the same area.
Haven’t been here since high school days so I decided to stop by for just a coffee with soy milk and it was so delicious that I got upset when my coffee finished lol. Coming back for more guys cheers for the good and prompt service. Keep up the great work!!!
I popped in for a quick brekky on the run and was happy with my ‘breakfast smoothie’. It was the Canteen version of a beefed up Banoffee and quite filling. The range of burgers, wraps and rolls was excellent and the coffee good.
Really great burgers (pulled pork I had today), good price, nice staff, nice shop, thefood was served quickly. I don’t know what else to ask for?
I love this place! It’s my new local. Awesome staff, coffee, ACAI!!
The sandwiches are to die for, with a selection that changes everyday but everything is equally delicious.
Straight up and not pretentious too.
