Came on a Saturday for dinner with a small group. We shared a heap of meats, starters and sides. Meals came out pretty quickly but portion sizes for the bbq meat and sides are pretty small, especially for the price. But the food is really tasty and the atmosphere is really laid back.

Havent been to Le Bon Ton in a while and really enjoyed coming back. Love the lighting and vibe inside. The night I came, apparently it was the coldest night in Melbourne since 1957, but it was so cosy inside I really didnt notice.

Last time I came I got the pit smoked meats and southern fried chicken and they were amazing.

This time I started with the jalapeo & cheddar cornbread muffins which were so bloody tasty! Id definitely come back for them. Also got the fries which were on point too.

I decided to try the Le Bon Ton Cheeseburger which was really tasty too, although I think a little dry.

Ill definitely be back to get amongst the pit smoked meats again.

For the price you pay, I thought the food was nothing to write home about. I had the vegetarian tacos – perhaps the vibe is better if you are keen on meat. It tasted like something I could easily cook myself, and the beans were quite hard/not well stewed. The cocktail I had was quite nice, however.

Came here to try the burgers… after a few beers we end up with a table full of American bbq !! A Smokey assortment of brisket and pork belly. Complemented with chips, sausage and pull pork. Could not pick a favourite! leaving with a full stomach we already have plans to come back and next time actually try the burgers.
