Lovely service and so nice that chef pops out to say hello.

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to have dinner before we went the penguin parade. We had looked up various restaurants in Phillip Island and Bani’s Kitchen came up. We weren’t sure about it, but we thought we would give it a try. Best decision.
For starters we got the Green fava bean dip. This was the first time I had tried this dish and loved it. For mains we got Lamb shoulder that was served with green salad and almond tarator. We also got the roast beetroot side. Everything was so yummy! Its a small place so there was just one front of house staff member, he was so lovely and provided very quick and accurate service despite having the whole restaurant to look after. If you’re in Philip Island I highly suggest you visit Bani’s Kitchen. I can not recommend this place enough!
Amazing food! I had the vegan bowl which was sooooo yum, the pumpkin was so creamy and the hummus was deliciously made in house. Good portion size and really fills you up. My partner had the beef souvlaki which he loved. The chef was really talented and obviously loves his job. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.
A lovely hidden gem on the island. We had the lamb and chicken souvlaki. Both were equally satisfying. Dont expect your usual pita wrapped souvlaki with onions and tomatoes or you will be disappointed! Here it is served on opened style on flatbread and topped with greens and tahini/ tzatziki.
