Ordered a couple coffees, some toast for the little fella and my fiance and I ordered the Guac on Toast and i got an extra egg. Coffee was spot on, and the brekky was close to the best brekky i had in ages. The owner came over and had a chat too. It is a great spot. Will be back.
Delicious food, quick service and friendly staff. My only suggestion would be to add fresh juice to an already great menu. Will definitely be back next time we are in Phillip Island.
This is a hard review. My fiance and I had breakfast here yesterday morning. We both got the egg and bacon rolls which we both found amazing. It was huge on Turkish bread full of bacon and everything was yum. We also got milkshakes him caramel and me vanilla. They both tasted the same, it was just a big glass of frothed up milk. Was so disappointed. Would probably return but steer clear of the milkshake
We had midweek lunch at Cafe Lugano. The indoor area is cramped but there are outdoor tables at front and rear. Staff were very friendly and service was very good. The menu was limited. I chose the Eggs Benedict which was very tasty. The slow cooked lamb dish was dry and lacking taste – it improved by adding some of the eggs and hollandaise sauce and some pepper. It’s a nice cafe.
Consistently good coffee, friendly staff and cheap but tasty breakfasts. On the island where coffee and breakfast/brunch is generally mediocre at best Cafe Lugano shows how to do it right.
Awesome steak sandwich loved the chai latte I will be back again and the staff were very welcoming. Thank you to the chef again for a great and tasty meal.

Prior to arriving we Encountered some nasty cafe staff at porter republic (a cafe in San Remo)
But alas cafe Lugano and their welcoming staff catered to our ever enduring needs for big breaky with of course some avocado
We would like to give a formal shout out to our main man tom/dale/Alejandro/Lachlan/Nathan/Craig/Luke (MATT) for being a super efficient helpful dude we sure will be back save us table number 22 see you at 11:59 in one year
