Fig & Olive was quite nice. We ordered the Kilpatrick Oysters, Greek Octopus, Scotch Filling, Linguine Di Mare. The Oysters were quite nice, well prepared. The Octopus I would definitely give a pass on, it was quite charred and tasted like charcoal. The steak was quite nice, definitely above average. The pasta was really really nice, some of the best seafood pasta I’ve had.The interior of the restaurant is also quite nice. Overall a positive experience.
Long weekend getaway to Phillip Island and we had the best pizza. The dough was chewy and crunchy,I could eat the pizza base just on its own. Good food accompanied with excellent service
We arrived in Cowes at 8:30pm after a long drive and found Fig & Olive. The kitchen was closing for the night, but the owner insisted that he not only reopen so we could be served, but he cooked himself! Fabulous steak. Great calamari. Amazing pork belly. Great service and even better food.
Best Dining. Every element in all the dishes was just perfect. Packed with so much flavour. The chorizo in the paella, the cameralised onion in the patata pizza complementing the goat cheese and the garlic prawns were exquisite
