We have been here on a number of visits to the island, but unfortunately this time the whole experience was very disappointing. My friend’s coffee was so acrid and bitter-tasting that not even a whole jug of hot milk could alleviate the taste. My chicken and rice soup was incredibly gluggy, with overcooked rice, creating almost a porridge-type effect, with a few chunks of chicken included. It was inedible. I had been really looking forward to eating here, as our last visit in December 2016 was enjoyable.
A tiny gem of a cafe full of amazing, delicious delights. Everything is made in house and options include fresh, interesting salads, house made pies, sandwiches, cakes and slices. The most decadent selection of sweet cakes and slices. I pop in every time I visit the Island and I always walk away with a smile on my face. You can also chose from a beautifully curated selection of jams, pickles, cheeses, crackers and other produce. Yesterday I ate the best mince pie ever! A teeny, tasteful treasure of a cafe.

Today I tried the olive bread toastie with ham, cheese and cranberry. The best toastie I’ve ever tasted!!!
Made to perfection I might add. Crispy, melted in the middle and beautifully warm. Just what I needed on a crisp morning.

Unbeatable coffee. This is the best place to get a real coffee. Friendly staff and lots of healthy and delicious food to match.
Don’t buy your coffee anywhere else onthe island if you appreciate quality..
I try so many places and keep coming back!
