Coffee came out quick but waited along time for sandwich, asked if I could have it takeaway instead of eat in, I had to get back to work. My request came with 2 very rude comments from 2 of the staff. One of them told me I hadn’t waited an hour for my toasted chicken sandwich and they were very busy, maybe not an hour and I wouldn’t expect to, 20 mins was enough for me. Mind you I had only asked to take my food away wasn’t looking for such a rude response. The chicken in the sandwich was greasy and my lunch experience was very poor.
Cappuccino was fine. Service was slow, food was greasy and average. Expensive. They do not take credit card and they don’t give any receipt. I hardly know what I paid for and I had no way to check my bill. No sure I will return!
Try somewhere else. Average food for a reasonable price. Went for breakfast, was charged 50c extra to have eggs scrambled. Asked to use bathroom and was told there is one but customers aren’t allowed to use it- instead to use the public toilet up the road. There are plenty of other cafs in Cowes.
So so bad. I came here in search of a nice breakfast, and I was given the cheapest looking and tasting food that has ever been served to me. There was zero love put into the food. Just disgusting! The older lady behind the counter was loud and annoying, and the rude man ‘cooking’ the food had no clue of what he was doing. im still trying to get my head around how they could serve up that kind of meal!!
You xant find another place like it. I havnt bezn to a place where you actually feel at home when your there. Friendly staff, always happy to help! Love love love it. It has really come along way since the previous owners. Good work, keep it up guys! ( and thos awful comment, come on get a life idiots, I dont know any Islander who dosnt love every part of Kutas service, and the coffee is amazing)
Kuta cafe more like complacent cafe. Tried this place simplybecause we are searching to find out favourite cafe on the island.
Decor is poor and stock and appliances are sitting on top of drink fridges.
It feels tired, and like they don’t really care or realise about the poor presentation.
The staff are nice and service was good.
Menu I would call truck stop food, very simplistic and not very inspiring.
Coffee was okay thoughby the time it reached our table most of it was in the saucer.
This place could be much more, it isin a great location but needs a face lift and a menu lift.
Doubt we will gk back. The owners need to look at what people expect from a cafe if they want repeat business from people who aren’t their mates that live in the community.
