I ordered a gourmet Tasmanian sandwich and a large long black. What I got was an extremely sub-standard excuse for a sandwich that really shouldn’t have been served to anyone as well as a cup of the worst tasting coffee I’ve possibly ever had in my life. Combine this with extortionate prices and a staff that look like dead eyed drones and it’s a wonder that this place is still in business.
I went there with my Dad this morning and I had Fish and Chips with a glass of water and my Dad had a Roast Pork Sandwich on Rye Bread with a Green Tea. The staff were kind to us and the service was amazing.
This Cafe is Lousy. I ordered a simple chicken schnitzel roll with some salad. What came back wrapped up was the roll. No schnitzel. And they giggled while charging me the full amount for a very substandard product. Avoid this establishment completely.
This Cafe has very, very bad food. This caf has very, very bad food. I ordered a burger with the lot and it came with no tomato sauce or beetroot and the beef patty was a thin little processed no name brand thing you buy from the freezer section of a supermarket. When I complained the waitress said I needed to ask for the sauce and beetroot as they are extras. My partner ordered roast pork. It came 30 min after my burger. The pork was fridge cold, dry and there was no gravy. Overall the worst place we have ever eaten. I left my food and requested a refund but it was refused as the waitress said the manager was not there that day.
Best milkshake place. Try the lime milkshake! Easily the best in eastern suburbs for this. (Comes in the awesome large silver container, which many places don’t do anymore!)
