Ckgs is a lovely cafe on a quiet strip of shops with plenty of easy parking. This cafe has great food and lovely homemade cakes the girls at ckgs have great service which makes the cafe very inviting, it is my new regular cafe 🙂
CKG’s café is a relatively new café residing in a shopfront nested in a tiny shopping strip on Mount Dandenong Rd. The décor comprises an off-white colour scheme, with a timber-panelled counter. The walls are adorned with faux creepers, as are the rafters, and the walls feature various ephemera including a large clock face, and mounted timber planters. The table settings are tastefully decked-out with lime green table cloths and timber chairs. The menu listed standard fare such as the usual breakfast items, burgers, etc. however there were few vegetarian or vegan items – it would be good to see some more options included on the menu. I had coffee and a house-made custard tart with a toffee crust, and both were good, the coffee was well extracted. The service was friendly, welcoming, and informal, and locals/regulars get an especially good reception.

Such a cute little spot to go for an amazing breakfast or lunch, everyone is so welcoming and helpful. You can tell that to food is made fresh which is a huge factor in maintaining happy customers.
