Went there months ago and everything was great.
Went this morning for breakfast to find new owners. We ordered the big breakfast and when it was brought to the table 1 meal had wrong eggs & no tomato, on my meal bacon was JUST cooked, sausage was over cooked, no tomato no hash brown, the baked beans was just slopped everywhere & meal was just warm. Tried talking to the lady who brought it to the table, but she did not speak english. I was asked if i wanted it warmed up. Decided i did want to eat there, so paid for our coffee and went to another cafe & had a great meal.
    Will not be going back.

Very welcoming staff, kid friendly, food good and coffee nice and strong. The kids portions could have been larger and the side salad could have done with having a dressing on it.

A new cafe has popped up in Main Street Croydon, so, as normal, we have to give it a try. Nice street appeal and nice comfortable decor inside. Entered an empty cafe, alarm bells started for us. Seated immediately, no surprise there, coffee orders taken and menus left with us, water not brought over, self serve, which is fine. Coffee came out quickly, good crema on my long black, soy latte looked good as well. Coffees were good, a little strong, but hot and nice. Both meals, poached eggs with sides on sour dough, ordered and came out in good time. Both meals well cooked, well presented and nice, nothing spectacular, basic supermarket ingredients but ample servings and cracked pepper on the table, I like that. Overall a good cafe, not great compared to what else is available in Croydon main strip, but good, $34 for both is a very reasonable price.

Cafe looked good. Service was definitely lacking. I had my almost 3 year old with me so we were immediately ushered to the rear of the cafe to the kids area which is up near the toilet in a kind of uncomfortable feeling space. The lady who seated me asked me if Id like to order a coffee, I started to place an order with her and she ran off saying shed be back soon. She never came back so I went back into the cafe and placed and order…no apology for not coming back. Coffee was average and too hot for my liking. Definitely not coming back, especially with the other great cafes to pick from in Croydon.
