    **** Allergies****
Last night I attended my mother in laws wedding at Wyreena.
I am currently breastfeeding my 6 month old son, who has severe allergies to numerous different proteins in food. Especially Dairy and Soy.
Over the past 6 months we have spent countless days at the Royal Childrens Hospital. In and out of allergist appointments and Gastroenterologist appointments. As any exposure to allergens causes severe Bleeding from my sons colon. Allergic Colitis to be exact.
My husband asked to speak with the owner Yasmin. Who was in the kitchen preparing cocktail style food.
My husband explained the severity of the situation and asked if anything was safe for me to eat.
Her response was bitter and lacked any kind of professionalism you would expect from the owner of a business.
After bickering with my husband she assured us she had something safe for me to eat.
I was served 3 cocktail style frittatas.
Half way through the second one I started to taste cheese. I pulled it apart only to see melted cheese inside the frittata.
Last time I checked Cheese is made from Milk.. which comes from a Cow.. which classifies it as a Dairy product.
My husband asked to speak with the owner Yasmin again. Who was even ruder the second time around.
He asked if they contained cheese and her response was well hes not going kill him is it. No lady it wont kill him, but it will make him violently ill.
She then proceeded to inform us she didnt know the contents of the food after all. My husband was told they were sending a txt message to the woman who had prepared them.
Within half an hour the manager confirmed that cheese was an ingredient.
I didnt catch the womans name but she was very apologetic and understanding of the situation. Her professionalism was what you would expect from the owner of the business.
My husband spoke again with Yasmin who wasnt so confrontational this time around, she had her tail between her legs so to speak.
In turn Ive been awake all night with a restless baby, who is extremely distressed and in great discomfort.
Ive now learnt my lesson, I wont be trusting anyone again. Thankfully my son doesnt require an EpiPen or the situation couldve been much worse.
Heres a link so you can educate yourselves on the severity of this situation.

I think the scones were the highlight of my experience. It was light and fluffy and really fresh. I like the fact that they have a playground next to the cafe so kids can play while you chat with friends and you can still keep an eye on them.

I can’t comment on the food as we only dropped in to have a cup of tea and coffee. It was a great little cafe. I would love to come back for a meal.

We drove by hull road and saw a sign ‘cafe open’ outside croydon art centre and so we walked in. We are lucky to have one outdoor table unreserved as most tables were reserved for booking on sat lunch time. Our scone and foccacia were cooked to perfection. Suits people who wants a relax brunch or lunch or afternoon. Love the classic tea cup. Surrounded by little garden perfect for families to chill. I rarely gave a five but I just love this place!

Pleasant and quaint little cafe, in leafy surrounds (there is an outdoor seating area). Good value meals, and a no fuss service.

Was reasonable, but charged fees for Eftpos which was annoying. After spending $50 in one transaction, decided we need one more coffee and was asked to pay an extra fee.
