The biggest reason I was tempted to try out Captain Rouge was the yummy looking chicken salt chips in the display cabinet. I ordered the fish burger pack which came with those chicken salt chips and a can of drink for $9 so good value. The fish burger was fish bites, coleslaw and mayo in a bun, so fairly basic but tasty and the chips were worth trying as they were positively yellow with that yummy chicken salt.
This place makes good fish & chips . Also it’s at a good value and another plus, they offer free tomato sauce.
The only problem I had was that one of their fish flakes had the black skin under it, which made it taste quite bitter.
If they get rid of that 1 problem then this place would be perfect.
