Ordered a quarter slice of their beef burek which came straight out of the oven. The outer layer of the burek was very thin and crispy; and then beneath it there was multiple layers of moist dough pastry which resembles the top part of a meat pie. Reaching the centre was the beef filling which is basically little bits of mince beef scattered within the cross section of the burek. The flavour of the beef filling was weak as there wasn’t much of it; the savoury taste was mainly from the pastry itself. Overall flavour was pretty monotone especially from the lack of flavour from the beef but really enjoyed the flakiness of the burek. Some tomato sauce or a squeeze of lemon juice would definitely enhance the flavour of the beef burek.

Good food for what it is. We had the baked potato with coleslaw for $6 ($5 without coleslaw), which we thought was good value. The baked potato was piping hot the way we like it, and the service was good. Originally we wanted the fish and chips, but they cook it fresh, so it would take about six minutes and we didn’t want to wait, but it is good to know that it is cooked fresh, rather than sitting around in a heat cabinet for a while.
This place is so infuriating, the chevapi is fantastic if you can be bothered waiting 20 minutes. The bread is soaked which makes it really difficult to eat. For the love of god surely you can just throw a bunch of chevapi on the grill knowing that the next customer will be coming soon. I don’t if it’s just the owner been a tight ass or bad management but this appalling service means he has missed out on dozens of sales to me
I have been trying to have a cheese burek here for the past 7 months.
Every time I go, the lady tells me it will be another 10 minute wait. I waited 45 minutes and still didn’t get my burek.
This has happened so often that I’m starting to wonder whether they even have food at the stall.
