Came for lunch and ordered roast pork with rice. For $10.50, the proportion you get is HUGE. A very good value for money as they gave a generous amount of meat and rice. The roast pork itself didn’t have that much crackle as expected but filled me up nonetheless.
Been here multiple times and tried pretty much all the made to order dishes, all very good!
Read a few negative reviews here, but i think this is one of the best and most consistent noodle takeaways in the south east, much better than anything else in Dandenong.
For the price (around $10 per meal) you get a very decent serve with a good amount of meats/other items (fish ball, fish cake, bean curd)
Flavours on all the dishes are excellent, standouts are the curry laksa and prawn dumplings noodle soup but the fried kway teo, singapore noodle, won ton noodle soup and seafood fried noodle are great too!
Service is horrible and staff are very unfriendly, but hey, the food is good and cheap so i’ll keep coming back
Came here for lunch with my dad, terribly disappointed. Food was far to expensive for what you get, the quality is absolutely shocking and you are served with a blank face.
Beef Soy Sauce Noodle. It was a no from me :/ food tasted like microwave stats -_-
Extremely rude waitresses. Food is okay but its cheap. Some waitresses are extremely rude, especially the man looking one (who is actually a female), not only she is rude to customers, but she is also rude to her work colleagues. Why I know this, is because I understand Chinese and I don’t like the way she is making racist remarks or treating her own work colleagues like trash. Very poor customer service overall.
The other downside is that I can see fingerprints all over my plate, at least wipe the fingerprints off before serving the meal out, it’s unappetizing.
Rude Waitresses. Food is great but the downfall is their service….though they are served on time…waitresses are very very rude ….It happened to me one time when we ordered lunch at Grains…when we finished our meal, we were standing at our table and was about to leave, one of the young chinese waitress is looking for the table to serve the food…she literally passed in the middle of us, hitting me with her elbow to get in her way…I was really shocked with what she did so I asked her what was her problem…and she said your blocking the way…that was the last time that I ate there…talk about customer service!
