We ordered the lunch special and a samosa chaat. First time to try it out. Medium spice, with a chicken and lamb curry, two naan and basmati rice. I love spice. I loved this food and this meal. It’s in a humble place in dandenong but amazingly i feel like I’m eating like a king. Can’t wait to come back.
Although the ambience is good, we usually pick up food. Service is always good. Staff is friendly. Prices are average. And the best seekh kabab we have eaten is here. Gravies are not bad. We have been regulars since 3 years and definitely recommend this place.
just ordered 3 different curries n is so not worth the wait. 1.vindalloo curry which asked to be cooked medium but was mild sweet same as the butter chicken was so sweet it so didn’t taste like actual curry as for the goat curry don’t even go there more gravy n 7 meat bones seriously is that how you pack a $11 dollar meal for take away it is really unsatisfactory standard for that kind of serving for a take away.Heard from a friend u your food was great but really not n when I phoned in to complain about the goat curry being just 7 meat n gravy the lady say to me oh really seriously ur customer service is crap to.Told she will ask the chef like seriously is the chef packing the meals up… really disappointed customer right now.
Bad experience. Garlic naan was brought with garlic paste topping. OMG! Do you know what a garlic naan looks like? I guess No.
None of the curries were appealing to us and Deserts were also a disappointment. Ambience and seatings were below average.
Good service, good food, taste good ! Good lunch options. Will visit again !
We had the lunch option which cam with butter chicken, lamb roganjosh with nann and rice. Good value
OMG…its terrible, don’t waste your money, please find the best place where to eat….. no taste so no waste your money. it is the first and last experience .
An average Indian restaurant for a quick curry fix in Dandenong.
We opted for the Family combo which is a rather large spread and quite economical too. Service was a bit slow so the staff bought out samosas and hara kebab with chutneys and pappads, courtesy the restaurant while we waited for the food.
Then came the kebab platter; average fair which I would be happy to skip the next time.
For mains, it was naan and vegetable rice with butter chicken masala, rogan josh, mixed vegetable curry and Malabar prawn curry. The rogan josh was good while the butter chicken and prawn curry were too sweet. Enjoyed the mixed vegetable curry.
For drinks, we got the salted lassi which was really delicious and highly recommended for the summer.
The meal ended with traditional Indian sweets which again was average.
Overall, average food and service.
