Chicken tikka was raw and inedible. Only hoping that I don’t get food poisoning. I definitely wouldn’t buy anything other than sweets from here again.
Chicken tikka was uncooked and terribly raw and when we told them this, they said it is fine and didn’t do anything about it. We didn’t end up eating the chicken tikka and it was a waste of money. The other things we are was the chicken curry and chicken biryani which gave us food poisoning. The customer service is terrible and we would never return again!
I cannot review the sweets, but I can write to the meals and take away food.
While this restaurant is close to the station, and the prices are very cheap, this is truly a dire eating experience.
Having tried the limited vegetarian offerings, I can say that the tastes are bland, the food is over cooked, the service is poor, and it takes a long time to get served.
Little India has a number of alternate options, restaurants that are keen for your business. This restaurant seems content to have their niche as ‘the cheapest in town’ and leave it at that.
Never going there again! Terrible customer service. Had to continually check that they were providing me with the correct food items but still managed to get it wrong. On the phone, tried to blame me as if I had done something wrong. If you are training a new person, supervise them if they are not capable of putting through a transaction. Get it together!
Been here twice and it’s been good. Warm service, nice cold jug of water, small but decent dining place and good food.
I had been to Bikaner right across last night and was the BIGGEST mistake (read my earlier review on this) and that prompted me to suggest this place (I have no affiliation with this place – just been here twice and it hasn’t let me down like Bikaner)
I’ve had a chicken curry (don’t rem the exact name as it’s been a while now), 2-3 types of breads, paneer tikka masala, Samosa (stunner), dal, chicken briyani (OKish, not a show stopper), and Jilebi (colored and little too sweet for my palate).
Overall, I wouldn’t mind going here again. The service was good too.
Best butter chicken I’ve ever had! I’ve been going to Punjabs since 1995 and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food. The restaurant is by no means fancy but don’t let that deter you from trying the food.
You wouldn’t think much when you go inside the store but there Sambosa’s and Chana Bhature were the freshest and really tasty indian dishes I’ve ever eaten. And the Mango Lassi was really good also. Not only that, the amount of portions you get for the price. You can always come back here whenever you want.
