Stopped in for lunch on Friday. Overall we were very happy with the food.
We had the chicken burger, onion rings and drink for $17, a great price for lunch and a very generous portion. It was a really tasty burger and the chicken was crispy and delicious, even better if you chuck on some hot sauce! Kids had the chicken nuggets and chips but only really picked over the crispy chips. So hubby and I ate the chicken nuggets. They came out a bit dark but that’s down to the seasoning, the nuggets are really quite flavoursome and addictive…again especially if you chuck on some hot sauce! Yum.

Galley Diner. An american-like diner reminiscent of an establishment where you can get burgers, fries, chicken wings and even enjoy a cocktail. On a trip to Hepburn Springs, we decided to try out this restaurant. Service here is exceptional, with the attendees very friendly and helpful in nature, more so than most establishments of a similar accord.
Today we decided to try the Galley burger (beef) and the fried chicken burger. For once in our travels, I have found a place that not only does good fried chicken burgers, but better than the beef burger! Apparently famous for their fried chicken, it isn’t hard to see why. Juicy, delicious sauces, tender and a very flavourful taste. Unironically it reminded us of a Zinger burger from KFC, only with a whole lot more flavour, quality and deliciousness. The beef burger in true diner fashion, tasted like a glorified Hungry Jack’s Whopper burger. Which isn’t a bad thing by any means, but have surely had more juicy variations elsewhere.
Overall very happy with our dining experience leaving us full and satisfied. Great customer service and delicious fried chicken worth trying if you are visiting the area!
