Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Had the chicken korma (chicken was so tender and sauce creamy), paneer tandoori (so tasty!) and the Kashmiri pilau (tasted good, could have used a touch more almond).

Prices were very reasonable and staff were very friendly. Will be back!

Ordered pack 1 (1xcurry, 1xrice, 1xnaan and a soft drink) for $24.99. Butter chicken was mild but delicious, very creamy. Rice was fluffy and naan was good. Enough for 2. Good value. Will return.

  • Had a really nice Indian takeaway last night. Tikka masala and beef saag were cooked beautifully. Apparently under new management-we were tipped off to try it by one of the hospo staff in town and turned out to be a great recommendation.. Would highly recommend it if looking for a good takeaway.

We’ll be back!. Really really really delicious, authentic food made with proper whole spices. We will definitely be coming back every time we are in Daylesford!
Easily as good as some of the best indian restaurants in Melbourne (eg Aangan in West Footscray and Kake di Hatti in Brunswick). Delicious paneer dishes and my favourite thing was the goan fish curry.
This might look a bit far away from the main street but its only about 3 minutes drive, and is definitely worth it.

The worst meal I have ever eaten. Entering the restaurant gave me a feeling of old world English Pub charm however, this is where the charm finished. I guess the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty on a Saturday night should have been an indication. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered my Lamb Tangine and a glass of red. The wine was somewhat undrinkable and the lamb consisted of a lump of grisle and what I can only assume was a packet or Moroccan sauce compliments of Masterfoods. I was not afraid to mention to the the waitress the quality of the food, which didnt seem to bother her. We promptly left with a dent in my pocket where the money used to sit that paid for that disaster… The Cook was afraid to come and ASK me what I thought as I could see him peeking though the door. Everyone else at my table also thought the food was inediblee.
