As soon as we walked in and the staff were great. Kind service with a great atmosphere. The food came out and they were generous servings and delicious food. Definitely coming back here! Thanks Larder for all your tips 😉
We didnt have the pleasure of enjoying a meal but instead got a takeaway smoothie. Priced at $10, I was excited for this as it had Kakadu Plum as a key ingredient. Unfortunately, while it was pleasant and more like a strawberry milkshake, I found it lacked any substance. It was also extremely aerated. Id return to try the food however, when I am in town next.
Coffee excellent
Menu original and yummy
Try the Panko pouched eggs – very original and a real treat with the pickled fennel
A must try if your in Daylesford
My rating is a 3.7

My score 3.5 stars. J & I occasionally have a 2 night getaway to Daylesford/Hepburn Springs. We’ve eaten lunch at L twice & had the Tasting Plate each time. Nice selection of nibbles, etc. – they kindly swapped the Smoked trout mousse for something else (as we’re not fans). The Blue Cheese mousse was a tad strong for me, but somewhat offset by the sweetness of the figs. On one occasion we had a nice glass of wine each, as we were on Shank’s pony for the arvo. Service was ok & interior is comfy/quaint. Ok value compared to many of the places in Daylesford (which is an expensive food town IMO)…
Rating (3.5 stars)
Popular breakfast spot on the Main Street of Daylesford town centre. Cool trendy fit out that could easily be in Melbournes trendy neighbourhoods. Great almond milk latte and GF options. Poached eggs on GF sourdough with Avo was good although the portion of Avo could have been slightly more generous.
