Highly recommended as a favourite for visiting tourists , I was really looking forward to having dinner here. Mercato with its plush rich furnishings and intimate setting , definitely exudes elegance as you walk in. With a full degustation menu available we decided rather to go with the A la Carte menu. Entrees included prawn and Avo salsa which was incredible and the stuffed zucchini flowers. I had the fillet steak with the red wine jus which was cooked perfectly. Dessert included the creme brle and cheese board which included a pistachio Persian fairy floss. Staff were lovely with that friendly country charm so present here in Daylesford. Definitely worth going.
